Privacy

What we keep, and what we don’t.

Solo Show has no accounts. You don’t sign up, and you don’t connect a wallet to look at a show.

Wallet lookups

When you open a show, the site reads that wallet’s public blockchain records: what it holds, its ENS name and profile, and what its works sold for. We don’t keep a record of which wallets you looked up. Wallet data is cached for a few hours so shows open quickly.

Measurement

We count anonymous events: a page category was viewed, a show was shared, a link out to a marketplace was clicked, a show was published. Each record holds the event, the kind of page and the day. No wallet addresses, searches, URLs, signatures or visitor identifiers are stored, and only one in ten page views is recorded at all. If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is recorded.

On your device

Drafts of your show, the art you save, and your light or dark preference are kept in your browser’s storage. They never leave your device unless you share a draft link or publish. Downloading a show builds its folder in your browser from the public images; nothing about it is sent to us.

When you publish or hide a show

Publishing stores your show (its rooms, wall text and title), your wallet address and the time, and makes them public on this site. Hiding stores your wallet address and the time, so the site knows not to show it. Each signed request also leaves a fingerprint so it can’t be reused. You can withdraw a published show or show a hidden wallet again at any time by signing.

When you sign a guestbook

Signing a show’s guestbook stores your wallet address, its ENS name if it has one, your line and the time, and shows them on that show for anyone to read. Signing again replaces your line. The collector whose show it is can remove any entry.

When you bring a gallery from Gallery

Typing a Gallery username asks Gallery’s public API for that profile’s galleries, and the chain for which of its works the linked wallets still hold. The answer is cached for an hour and nothing else is kept: the draft it makes lives in your link and your browser until you publish.

Who else is involved

Vercel hosts the site. Alchemy supplies blockchain data, with Blockscout’s public explorers standing in when Alchemy can’t answer; Tezos data comes from TzKT. Artwork images load through the wsrv.nl image service, Tezos media through objkt’s media service, and IPFS files through Filebase’s public gateway, each of which sees the request like any image host. Connecting a wallet to publish uses your wallet or the MetaMask SDK. Links out to Gondi, OpenSea, objkt, Etherscan and TzKT take you to their sites and their policies.
